Shuk Mahane Yehuda, Jerusalem
Spring 2012

I was invited to contribute a set of houses to the Tabula Rasa is a public art project. The project, organized by the Jerusalem Municipality, brings together graffiti artists and sculptors in the Shuk Machane Yehuda area.

I installed 3 small villages in the exhibition area.

The villages are off street level, above doorways. The villages are located at

#3 Dekel

#10 Beit Yaakov

#4 HaShikma

The houses are made from scrap lumber I have picked up around the city for a two years. Each house is numbered and includes the word “House” in one of 120 languages.

In the coming weeks, I am going to install other little villages around the city.
